About Us
My name is Amy Hutcheson. I was born in 1981 in a small town called Loveland Colorado. I started Resident Rock Star Photography in 2004 when I was attending college in Denver, but I have been taking pictures since I was 6 or 7, just old enough to bother the neighbor to use his antique box camera. I graduated on to my own 110mm camera just a few years later. Taking pictures of my favorite toys and stuffed animals in my room arranged as if they were having tea or some nonsense.
A little while later I started stealing my mothers 35 mm Sony and then once digital came along, I once again borrowed my mothers new Kodak digital snap shot.
I used a loner camera for years till one year for Christmas I received my very own Digital SLR, Sony _ 100. From there I continued to shoot bands, models, families, weddings, seniors, friends, and kids you name it I photographed it.
I am currently still using my Sony _ 100 and have added a few other pieces of equipment to my collection. Portable studio lights, Portable backdrops and stands, along with a portable computer equipped with photo editing programs and cd burner for your convenience.
Resident Rock Star Photography is now completely portable to meet your portrait needs. We specialize in live performance and action photography as well as portrait photography and events. But we are able to fill most photography needs as we are experienced in most areas of photography.
From landscape and still life, to wedding and special events. We shoot it all!
